MIX08 Day 1: Before the Keynote

Breakfast was great, as usual. The Venetian really goes out of their way making things just so... Take Mike, for example, he wanted hot chocolate, not coffee. "Let me see what we can do." Five minutes later Mike had his hot chocolate!

I learned something interesting about my laptop and phone (an unlocked AT&T Tilt with a custom ROM on it): it doesn't charge when through the USB port when the computer is shut down; not only that, but since it's still "plugged in" it stays awake. Not cool. Last night I went to bed with an 11% battery, this morning I awoke to 22%. GAH!

So here I sit on "Electric Avenue" (gotta take me higher) with my phone hooked up to its IV... but I'm back up to 24%. I'll try and charge up through all the presentations too.

By the way, if you've got a Windows Mobile 6 Device and want to sent Tweets to Twitter, here's a program that does the job. And if you wanna follow me on Twitter, you know the drill.
